NO DUMPING ALLOWED DUE TO THE DUMPING OF FLAMMABLE, ENVIRONMENTAL & PROHIBITED ITEMS!!!
- Due to the total disregard of some members in following the rules, the Board sees no other option than to suspend the collection of household items. The liability of the Association and it's members is being placed at risk should a fire or injury be caused by placing these items in the dumpsters. It is unfortunate that the thoughtless actions of a few members requires the end of this particular service.
- Also, the RVPOA Board signed a contract with Earthwise Enterprise, Inc., which states that Earthwise WILL NOT collect hazardous materials in any form and explicitly lists items that are not allowed to be dumped. That list was included in an email, was listed on this page and was visibly posted on all of the dumpsters. Unfortunately, it is our collective dues which will pay any fines that we've incurred because of this disregard for the fellow property owners.
SOME OF THE ITEMS THAT WERE RECOVERED FROM THE DUMPSTERS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
An engine with a full tank of gas.
Motor oil and a battery.
Air conditioner with freon.
Boxes not broken down.
Trash.
